About the role:

Read Write Discover is seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Marketing and Communications team! As a Social Media Coordinator, you will work directly with our Marketing & Communications Lead to strategize social media campaigns, design/develop content, and execute RWD’s marketing campaigns across our social media channels.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Create visual content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) to support our marketing strategies

  • Strategize and execute RWD’s marketing campaigns across our social media channels to drive engagement and brand awareness

  • Interact with our audience and other stakeholders through our social media accounts

  • Support all marketing and communications functions, as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Knowledgeable in social media content creation, social media platforms and their nuances

  • Exceptional people skills and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a remote environment

  • Ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects at once

  • Innovative individual who is excited to grow RWD’s brand identity

Extra Points:

  • Previous experience with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Leadership experience in non-profit, corporate, and/or educational programs

  • Experience creating content and design materials for other organizations

  • Previous Read Write Discover experience in a leadership role
